Samantha Kradas was raised and attended school in West Hartford, CT.
She attended the University of Connecticut where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in History. After college, Samantha went to work in the West Hartford Public School system as a Special Education Paraprofessional. This is where she found her love of teaching and went back to school at the University of Saint Joseph to obtain her Masters in Teaching, specifically for secondary education. Samantha worked at Middletown High School teaching social studies before coming to STMS.
Besides teaching, one of Samantha’s passions is coaching. Samantha is one of the Junior Varsity coaches for Conard High School basketball team and a coach for the Connecticut South Rebels basketball organization. When Samantha is not in the classroom, you can find her doing various outdoor activities; hiking, running, biking, and playing sports. Samantha also enjoys reading, spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and giving back in the community. As Samantha starts her career at St. Timothy Middle School, she looks forward to becoming part of the faculty family, incorporating the Catholic Social Teachings within the English Language curriculum, and working with students to develop skills inside and outside of the classroom.
