St. Timothy Middle School is proud to offer an expansive music program to our students.  In addition to general music instruction once a week for all students, instruction in the following disciplines is available for an additional fee.  Please click on the links below for more information.

Suzuki Violin
Dr. Shinichi Suzuki developed his method for his own instrument, the violin. However, materials
are now available for a variety of instruments. Dr. Suzuki's goal was not simply to develop professional musicians, but to nurture loving human beings and help develop each child’s character through the study of music. Click here for 2018-19 Program Registration and Information.

Piano lessons are available for an additional fee to all students. Lessons take place once a week on a rotating basis after school. Click here for 2018-19 Piano Registration Form.

St. Timothy Middle School, in cooperation with Future Musicians of CT, is pleased to offer band. Click here for more information and to register.

Choir and Honors Choir
All students participate in our liturgical choir, which practices weekly throughout the school year. An honors choir is also available for interested students.
