After graduating from NYU in 2016 with a B.A. in Spanish and Linguistics, Haleigh MacCloy returned to her hometown of West Hartford, and it was several fortuitous turns of fate that led her to a teaching assistant position at Saint Thomas the Apostle School in 2017. Over the last year and a half there she was able to leverage her passion for languages by leading Spanish lessons and consistently advocating cultural awareness. She is thrilled to continue to do this at Saint Timothy Middle School, now as Communications Coordinator. Haleigh loves coffee, swimming, and is a part of the adult choir at St. Thomas the Apostle Church.  As a member of the STMS faculty family, Haleigh wants “to share and translate the remarkable impact that these globally competent—albeit young—students have on our school community and beyond!”
