The most important thing to know about Deacon Pallotti is that he is married to Kit and has three great children: Katie, Kevin and Erin. He has a superb son-in-law, Russell Palmiter, and superb daughter-in-law, Amanda Taylor. To top it off, he has two wonderful grandchildren, Liam and Colleen Palmiter.
Deacon Pallotti received his B.A. in History from the University of Hartford, his M.A. in Religious Studies/Theology from the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford, and his Doctor in Ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation. He has taught for 40 years, sixteen years at Holy Cross High School in the Theology Dept. and was Chair for the last twelve. He also has served as an adjunct professor at the University of St. Joseph, taught 8th grade religion at St. Joseph School in Bristol, served as Professor in Morality and Ethics for the Deacon Formation Program for the Archdiocese, and still teaches in the Catholic Biblical School for the Archdiocese. Deacon Pallotti has served as a full time Pastoral Minister at St. Joseph Church in Bristol for 10 years and Director for the Office of the Diaconate for the Archdiocese for 14 years.
Deacon Bob has been involved with working for the elimination of nuclear weapons for 45 years, and working for justice in the areas of racism, economic justice, environmental justice and Catholic efforts at reconciliation with the Jewish people in light of the Holocaust. He is also a founding member of the Connecticut Council of Interreligious Understanding.
